Here you are some guidelines to understand the way I correct your writings. Sometimes you will find some symbols next to your mistake. To help you understand them, here you are the meaning of some of them:
I highly recommend that you revise your writing after my first correction. If you have many mistakes, I might give you the possibility to rewrite it and hand it in again. I might give you extra points for that. If writing is difficult for you, don’t worry! It’ll get easier if you keep practising.
When I correct your writings, I pay attention not only to your grammar, but also to other aspects. They may change from one unit to another depending on the type of writing we are studying. But in general terms, I will take into account the following:

- It includes the information required. Read the task carefully and answer all the questions.
- It has well-structured paragraphs with connectors to link ideas.
- It adapts to a specific text-type.
- Neatness: margins, hadnwriting, etc.
- Content: Ideas are interesting, topic-related and creative. The number of words is correct.
- Language (grammar, vocabulary, spelling, etc.).
