El miércoles 6 de marzo los alumnos de inglés a partir del nivel B2.2 están invitados al taller de Michael Harris, basado en su novela histórica Her Victories Were Air, inspirada por hechos reales. A partir de 19.15h en el Salón de Actos. 

"Her Victories Were Air is a historical novel, inspired by real people and events and set in colonial Nigeria and Cameroon. I will begin with the story behind the book, which goes back to my childhood memories of portraits of elegant Hausa ladies and an enigmatic bronze funeral mask. After briefly introducing the plot and characters of the novel, I will give you a presentation about the lives of colonial wives using unpublished period photos. Being a teacher, I will give you activities to do during the session".
